Course information

Latte Art is a blend of art and passion that creates incredible designs either just from the flow of milk from a jug, or by drawing on top of the milk foam, resulting in a work of art ready to be served. Latte Art is a worldwide trend in cafes, specialty coffee shops, and coffee shops all over the world, a way to surprise your customers and stand out from the competition.

This course is focussed on the art and technique that attracts and retains customers. The objective of this course is not only to create a drawing but also a perfect drink with an exquisite and balanced flavor.

Content

• Introduction to Latte Art.
• Necessary material for texturising. Types of jugs.
• Milk: types, properties, and emulsion.
• Plant-based drinks: types, properties, and emulsion.
• Principles of latte art.
• Drawing techniques with milk and plant-based drinks.
• Creation of specialty drinks.

For the course, a dossier with the necessary syllabus will be given to the student, and a certificate of completion will be given when it ends.

Previous knowledge

Barista knowledge is required.
