Mare Terra Coffee Institute is the new stage of IECAFÉ, since our beginnings in 2008 we have walked hand in hand but now we are joining forces to be closer together.. Our creation took place at a time when specialty coffee was spreading from northern Europe and gradually arriving in Spain. In that year, Mare Terra Coffee had already been importing specialty coffee for 4 years, a completely different coffee to what was being roasted, prepared and drunk in Spain at that time. It was necessary to generate coffee culture through a training school whose main objective was to be able to explain how exclusive and revolutionary this new product was for both the producer and the consumer. What better way to do it than through education? At Mare Terra Coffee, we conduct regulated training by the Specialty Coffee Association and the Coffee Q Institute because we are a certified SCA Premier Training Campus, an international recognition that positions our center at the top level of schools dedicated to the dissemination of coffee culture. Our students will be able to get certified in many training courses that will grant them recognition valued in more than 80 countries.
