Q Arabica Grader Calibration

Course information

Individuals certified with the Q Arabica Grader title must calibrate each other every three years to test their abilities to accurately assess coffee quality following the standards and protocols they learned in Q training.

It is mandatory for all Q Graders to participate in the calibration if they wish to remain active as a proper Q Grader. All Q Graders must pass this calibration and pass two of the three tests, once passed, the Q Grader certification will remain valid for another 3 years, from the day of the course of this calibration.

Content

The calibration consists of three phases of cupping (with 6 samples each) of coffees with different attributes.

• Washed Coffees
• Natural Coffees
• African or Asian Coffees
