Traveling and working at origin is an experience unlike any other. It is an occasion when our R and D team get their hands dirty with the production and processing of the current harvest, but more importantly it affords us the opportunity to work alongside and share experiences with the local coffee community.
However we are a global coffee community, so we at Mare Terra Coffee think it is important that you, the roasters participate and contribute to this pivotal time in the coffee calendar.
While simultaneously providing on the job learning of production and processing, and deeper understanding of the intricacies of the supply chain from the perspective of the origin.
These trips are set up for you the roaster to actively take part in our ongoing collaborations we have going at origin.
One needs to keep in mind that during your trip we are traveling to rural areas at origin. But not to worry though, we have made every effort to cover the comfort aspect while you travel. We will have a detailed itinerary for each trip with recommendations for what to bring, and what aspect you will need to organise before you leave.
