Timur Dudkin

“Timur is a licensed Q Grader for Arabica and Robusta and an AST (Authorized SCA Trainer) for the Specialty Coffee Association in the modules of Barista, Brew, Green Coffee, Sensory, and Roasting. Moreover, Timur trains participants in SCA championships at the national and international levels, coaching various champions in several categories and acting as a judge in countries such as Spain, Russia, and Ukraine. Our trainer combines his role as Director of R&D at Mare Terra Coffee with his passion for coffee. That’s why he travels around the world visiting coffee-producing countries, from Ethiopia, Kenya, to Brazil and other Latin American countries, with the aim of finding unique origins and enhancing the best coffees from each country.”

Axel Simón

“Axel was the barista champion of Spain in the championships organised by the Specialty Coffee Association in 2017 and represented Spain in the World Barista Championship in Seoul, South Korea, that same year. He is a licensed Q-Grader for Arabica and Robusta and an AST (Authorized SCA Trainer) for the SCA in the Brew and Green Coffee modules. He currently serves as the director of QLab at Mare Terra Coffee, leading a team focused on research, quality, and innovation in the world of specialty coffee.”

Sandra Melis

Sandra completed her barista training at our SCA campus several years ago, mastering modules in Green Coffee, Sensory Intermediate, Brewing, Roasting Intermediate and successfully obtaining her Professional Barista certification. With eight years of experience as a trainer, she has worked extensively with hospitality schools and coffee industry professionals, gaining valuable knowledge of the hospitality sector. Currently, as training coordinator at our Institute, Sandra conducts Barista Fundamentals and Intermediate Barista courses. With eight years of experience as a trainer, she has worked extensively with hotel schools and coffee industry professionals, gaining valuable knowledge of the hospitality industry. Currently, as training coordinator at our Institute, Sandra runs Barista Fundamentals and Intermediate courses.
