Mare Terra Coffee Institute is the new stage of IECAFÉ, since our beginnings in 2008 we have walked hand in hand but now we are going to be more together, joining forces.
Our creation took place at a time when speciality coffee was spreading from Northern Europe and gradually reaching Spain.
In this year, Mare Terra Coffee had already been importing speciality coffee for 4 years, a completely different coffee to that which was roasted, prepared and drunk in Spain at that time, it was necessary to generate coffee culture through a training school whose main objective was to explain how exclusive and revolutionary this new product was for both the producer and the consumer. What better way was there to do this than through education?
At Mare Terra Coffee we offer training courses regulated by the Specialty Coffee Association and by the Coffee Q Institute, as we are a certified SCA Premier Training Campus, an international recognition that places our centre at the top level of schools dedicated to the dissemination of coffee culture. Our students will be able to be certified in many training courses that will give them a recognition valued in more than 80 countries.
